Advanced Appellate AdvocacySpring 2010 Instructor: Robert Rocklin This course provides an introduction to appellate practice in state and federal courts; Oregon appellate practice will be emphasized, as it is representative of appellate practice generally. The course teaches advanced writing, oral advocacy, and appellate concepts in the context of the specialty of appellate practice. The course provides practice in the written and oral persuasion techniques that are necessary to a successful appeal and that can be applied in other settings. |
