Criminal Practice Statement of CompletionIn order to earn a Criminal Practice Statement of Completion, a student must satisfactorily complete all of the following courses: Criminal Adjudication, Criminal Investigation, Evidence, and Trial Practice. In addition, a successful candidate must satisfactorily complete two of the following courses: Children and the Law, Criminal Responsibility Seminar, Cybercrime, Defense Clinic, Post Conviction Remedies, Prosecution Clinic, Selected Issues in Criminal Procedure, and White Collar Crime. In addition to completing the above-referenced curriculum, a candidate for the Criminal Practice Statement of Completion must also complete an academic research paper of high professional quality concerning criminal justice issues. The student must receive advance approval of his or her topic from a faculty member of the Criminal Practice Certification Committee.
