Dispute Resolution Statement of CompletionIn order to earn a Dispute Resolution Statement of Completion, a student must satisfactorily complete six of the following courses: ADR Survey, Arbitration, Commercial Mediation, Federal Judicial Settlement Practice, Mediation, Small Claims Mediation Clinic, Negotiation, Conflict and Dispute Resolution Master's courses, Civil Practice Clinic, Criminal Defense Clinic, Criminal Prosecution Clinic, Domestic Violence Clinic, Environmental Clinic, Interviewing and Counseling, Litigation Practice and Procedure, Trial Practice, or University of Oregon graduate level courses related to dispute resolution (upon approval). Three of the courses must be selected from the following list: ADR Survey, Arbitration, Commercial Mediation, Federal Judicial Settlement Practice, Mediation, Small Claims Mediation Clinic, Negotiation, Conflict and Dispute Resolution Master's courses. In addition to completing the above-referenced curriculum, a candidate for a Dispute Resolution Statement of Completion must complete an academic research paper of high professional quality concerning dispute resolution.A full list of requirements and procedures is available to current students in MyLaw.
