Intellectual Property Statement of CompletionIn order to earn an Intellectual Property Law Statement of Completion, a student must satisfactorily complete all of the following courses: Copyrights, Patent Law and Policy, and Trademark Law. A successful candidate also must satisfactorily complete two of the following courses: Art Law, Cybercrime, Intellectual Property Law Survey, Intellectual Property Licensing, Patent Litigation, and Intellectual Property Management Strategies. A successful candidate additionally must satisfactorily complete a course in either Administrative Law or Antitrust. In addition to completing the above-referenced curriculum, a candidate for the Intellectual Property Law Statement of Completion must also complete an academic research paper of high professional quality concerning intellectual property law. The student must receive advance approval of his or her topic. A full list of requirements and procedures is available to current students in MyLaw.
