Tax Law Statement of CompletionIn order to earn the Tax Law Statement of Completion, a student must satisfactorily complete the following courses: Federal Tax I, Federal Tax II, and Tax Policy. In addition, a successful candidate will satisfactorily complete two of the following courses: Accounting for Lawyers, Business Planning, Estate and Gift Tax, Estate Planning, Nonprofit Organizations, State and Local Tax, Sustainable Tax and Business Practices, or Tax Planning and Drafting. In addition to completing the above-referenced curriculum, a candidate for the Tax Law Statement of Completion must satisfactorily complete an academic research paper of high professional quality concerning the law of taxation. Advance approval of the topic is required. A full list of requirements and procedures is available to current students in MyLaw.
