James Kocher

Adjunct Instructor

Jim Kocher is a staff attorney at Lane County Legal Aid Service. He has been the director of the Civil Clinic since 1991. He has nearly thirty years of experience in private and public interest law practice. Kocher is a recipient of a Reginald Heber Smith Fellowship and the Emilio Bandiero Public Interest Award of the Oregon Law Students Public Interest Fund. Kocher graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Kansas Law Review.
