Program is Ranked 6th Nationally
An LRW professor discusses innovative teaching techniques with a recent graduate. Alumni remain involved in the LRW program by serving as judges for oral arguments each spring.
The Legal Research and Writing (LRW) program at the University of Oregon continues its rise in national ranking. U.S. News & World Report currently ranks Oregon's LRW program 6th in the nation. Legal writing professors from around the country vote in ranking legal writing programs. Oregon had one of the first legal writing programs in the country, and it continues to be a leader in the field. LRW professors lead presentations at national conferences, hold important positions in national organizations, and write on a number of topics. The focus of Oregon's LRW program has remained consistent since its inception: teaching students real-world lawyering skills in a challenging, yet supportive environment. |
