professional mediator has to face:
SCOTT PEPPET is the coauthor of Beyond Winning: Negotiating to Create
Value in Deals and Disputes. His 2004 article, Contract Formation in
Imperfect Markets, was named mediation article of the year by the
International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. Peppet
teaches at the University of Colorado School of Law.
The Prospect(s) of Liability for Practicing Mediators
MICHAEL MOFFITT is the coeditor of The Handbook of Dispute Resolution.
It won the 2005 book award from the National Institute for Advanced
Conflict Resolution. Moffitt teaches at Oregon and is associate
director of the Appropriate Dispute Resolution Center.
The Evolving Mediator Privilege: Confidentialitys Uncharted Waters
REBECCA HIERS is a scientist, attorney, and mediator in Pendleton,
Oregon. She founded Sunrise Mediation in 2002. Her expertise includes
mediation law, Indian law, and water law and policy.
