INTERNATIONAL LAW SYMPOSIUM
On Friday, March 16, the law school will host a public symposium, Complexities of Scale: The Role of the Subnational in International
Law.
This symposium focuses on the increasingly active presence of
subnational actors - cities and states - in the public dialogue over
international issues.
The
keynote will be presented by Knight Professor of Law Keith Aoki, and
will focus on the 1907 "Gentleman's Agreement" between the United
States and Japan.
The all-day event will be held in Rooms 241 and 175 at the Knight
Law Center, 1515 Agate Street on the UO campus in Eugene.
The event is sponsored by Oregon Review of International Law.
