Adam Gross to Keynote Public Interest Law Symposium to be Held At Law School

Interested in a career in environmental, immigration, or criminal
law? Want to know more about working in public interest law of any
kind? On Friday, September 28, from noon to 4:30 p.m., the University
of Oregon School of Law Public Interest Public Service ("PIPS") program
presents its 2007 PIPS Public Interest Law Symposium, titled "Changing
the World Through Public Service."
Adam Gross, Director of the Regional Affordable Housing Initiative
for the Chicago-based Business and Professional People for the Public
Interest, will give the keynote address. The event will also feature
panel presentations on criminal law, environmental law, immigration
law, pro bono, and the nuts and bolts of working in the public
interest.
