Cable TV Show Features Interview with Oregon Law Dean Margaret Paris January

Margaret Paris, University of Oregon School of Law Dean, will be featured on
UO Today, a cable television show. The interview will be broadcast on eight cable television stations throughout
Oregon for three days, Monday, Jan. 28 to Wednesday, Jan. 30. During the interview, Dean Paris discusses her professional background, Oregon
Laws Centers of Excellence, the financial pressures on law students and efforts
underway to relieve them and her vision for Oregon Law.
In the Eugene/Springfield area, the UO Today show featuring Dean Paris will be
broadcast on Monday, Jan. 28, at noon and midnight, on Community Television of
Lane County (CTV), Channel 29; Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 11:30 p.m., on CTV; and Wednesday,
Jan. 30, at 11:30 a.m., on CTV, and 8 p.m. on Educational Access Television, Channel
23.
UO Today is produced by the Oregon Humanities Center and hosted by Steve Shankman,
the centers director. Each week, Shankman interviews UO faculty, staff and visiting lecturers about
their research and interests for the 30-minute show.
