Oregon attorney general candidate and Lewis and Clark Law Professor John Kroger will discuss constitutional issues facing Oregon at the Knight Law Center in
room
110 on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at noon.
Professor Krogers discussion, sponsored by the American Constitutional Society
for Law and Policy, will focus on environmental regulation, civil rights, access
to justice and the methamphetamine epidemic.
Professor Kroger teaches criminal law and jurisprudence at Lewis and Clark Law
School. Before joining the faculty, he successfully prosecuted more than 200 federal
criminal cases involving the mafia, public corruption, white collar crime and
narcotics trafficking. He has also worked as an economic and domestic policy adviser to a number of
leading Democratic politicians, including serving as Deputy Policy Director of
former President Bill Clintons 1992 presidential campaign.
