How to Connect to UOnet with Windows XPConfiguring Ethernet • Configuring Wireless • Configuring Dial-up Windows XP is pre-configured for all of the standard networking protocols required to run UO Network Applications. You should not be required to modify any setting in your Network control panel for basic access. There are three ways to connect to the UOnet network: via Ethernet, wireless, and dial-up. You will need to use your email username and password to access the network via wireless and dial-up. See below for specific instructions. Click Connect To then Show all connections. 3. Right-click on the Local Area Connection icon. 4. Click Status; it should read Connected. Click the UOnet Authentication link. 2. Enter your UO email address in the Username box and your password for your email account in the Password box and click the Login button. 3. You should receive a welcome message: 4. To log out, go to: http://network-services.uoregon.edu/wireless/logout.html and click Logout. If you need additional assistance, please contact our Help Desk.
